Description
The Coast Guard is establishing a temporary safety zone in the navigable waters of Humboldt Bay to protect personnel, vessels, and the marine environment from potential hazards related to hazardous material exposure during maintenance at the Pacific Gas & Electrical Company shoreside terminal. The safety zone prohibits entry of vessels or persons unless authorized by the Captain of the Port, Sector San Francisco, or their designated representative. This temporary rule is effective on June 3, 2026, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The safety zone covers all navigable waters within a 100-meter radius of the PG&E facility at 1000 King Salmon Ave, Eureka, CA.
