Description
The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) requests comment on a draft nondisclosure agreement (NDA) intended for use by Federal agencies for both new and existing employees. The NDA documents Federal employees' acknowledgment of and agreement to comply with legal obligations to safeguard non-public, confidential, or proprietary information obtained through their official duties, while preserving the right to make disclosures authorized by law. OPM believes a governmentwide NDA form will promote consistency across the Government, better protect confidential information, and better inform Federal employees of their rights and obligations regarding confidential information. Comments on the draft NDA must be received by June 26, 2026.
