The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 4 is seeking sources for a comprehensive upgrade of Philips brand physiological monitoring systems at the Wilkes-Barre VA Medical Center. - Government Buyer: - Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 4 (VISN 4) - OEMs and Vendors: - Philips (brand name only requirement for all monitoring equipment and upgrades) - Products and Quantities: - 20 bedside and anesthesia monitors (touch screen, multi-parameter, wireless, Cerner/Oracle interface) - 22 bedside monitors (touch display, multi-parameter, wireless) - 15 central monitoring computers (Windows 11 OS) - 8 telemetry monitoring modules (1.4 GHz wireless, enhanced arrhythmia, vital trends) - Wireless infrastructure upgrade (compatible with Philips telemetry and patient monitors, includes access point mapping and replacement) - Replacement of outdated network switches (Aruba hardware, POE support) - Replacement of uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) for CPU racks and central stations - Replacement of video remote solutions and installation of remote skew correctors for large displays and central stations - Central station replacement (FDA approved, Windows 10 LTSC or equivalent) - Installation of sealed keyboards and mice at all central stations - Patient monitoring accessories (SPO2 cables/sensors, NIBP hoses/cuffs, ECG leads, temperature, etCO2, IBP) - Replacement of large displays for nurse hallway overview - Server OVA images for Windows Server 2022/Linux, SQL Server 2022, VA virtual environment compatibility - Care management, web interface, and physiological data management virtual servers (Windows Server 2022 support) - Services Requested: - 24/7/365 technical and clinical support - Training for nursing staff (covering 2 shifts) - Unique/Notable Requirements: - All equipment and software must be Philips brand and compatible with existing Philips systems - Integration with hospital EMR (Cerner/Oracle) and Vocera - Wireless infrastructure must support 1.4 GHz frequency and existing Philips telemetry devices - All servers must be installable on VA virtual environment and support VA Active Directory/Domain authentication - FDA approval required for central station replacement - Training and technical support are mandatory
