Description
Carteret County Government is seeking competitive proposals for the installation of a new Cellular-Enabled Fire Alarm System at the Leon Mann Jr. Enrichment Center located at 3820 Galantis Drive, Morehead City, NC. The scope includes disposal of the old system, installation of new equipment such as smoke detectors, horns, strobes, heat detectors, pull stations, key pads, fire alarm control panels, transmitters, cellular communicators, backup batteries, wiring, HVAC shutdown integration, door devices, cover plates, signage, and other necessary components. The contractor must provide all labor and equipment, adhere to NFPA and other applicable codes, and provide monitoring, maintenance, repair, and inspections as an alternate proposal. The awarded contractor will also provide training to designated County staff and submit engineered scaled drawings of the new system.
