Description
The City of Calgary is seeking a qualified Indigenous Relations Consultant to support communications, engagement, consultation, and related risk management and opportunity identification activities for the Prairie Economic Gateway project. The work supports the City's commitment to Truth and Reconciliation and aims to advance respectful and culturally appropriate relationships with Indigenous peoples and communities. The project includes multiple phases: risk and opportunity assessment, communication strategy development, engagement and consultation plan development and implementation, and final reporting, with an optional ongoing advisory support phase. The consultant is expected to complete phases one through four within twelve months of contract award.
