The City of Columbia is seeking qualified contractors to provide comprehensive weekly maintenance and upkeep services for all Parks and Recreation facilities, fountains, and grounds. - Government Buyer: - City of Columbia, Department of Procurement and Contracts - Parks and Recreation Department - Products and Services Requested: - Weekly maintenance for water features and fountains (including Finlay Park and city-wide locations) - Lawn care and grounds maintenance for all public parks - Swimming pool maintenance (routine water testing, chemical balancing, equipment inspection, cleaning, and seasonal services) - Restroom cleaning and sanitization (including Finlay Park) - Splash pad maintenance and installation (inspection, preventive maintenance, installation, ADA compliance) - Consulting and design services for warehouse and office facilities at 1213 Flora Street - Notable Requirements: - Ability to service all city parks, recreation areas, and water features - Participation encouraged from Local Business Enterprises and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises - Submission of detailed company information, references, and compliance certifications - Separate proposals required for each service category - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation - Contract Term: - Initial three-year term, with two optional one-year extensions - Key Locations: - Finlay Park, Columbia City Hall, Earlewood Park, Maxcy Gregg Park, Myrtle Court, MLK Park Stone of Hope, Emily Douglas Zen Garden, T.S. Martin Community Garden, Rosewood Doggie Park, Riverfront Park, 1213 Flora Street, and Senate Street (all in Columbia, SC)

This Request for Qualifications (RFQu) seeks qualified contractors to provide weekly maintenance and upkeep for Parks and Recreation facilities, fountains, and grounds in the City of Columbia, South Carolina. The scope includes comprehensive turf and grounds maintenance services for designated park areas and all Parks and Recreation facilities and recreational areas. The City will conduct a formal selection process to determine the best qualified respondents. The anticipated contract term is an initial three years with options for two additional one-year extensions.
