North Las Vegas Solicits Short-Term Heavy Equipment Rentals (CAT, Volvo, Generac or Equivalent)

The City of North Las Vegas is seeking bids for a contract to provide short-term rentals of heavy duty equipment for city-wide projects, including flood and development control initiatives. - Government Buyer: - City of North Las Vegas, Finance Department Purchasing Division - OEMs and Vendors: - Caterpillar (CAT) - Volvo - Generac - Empire Southwest (vendor attendee) - Products/Services Requested: - Wide range of heavy equipment rentals, including: - Diesel air compressors (e.g., 185 CFM) - Generators (5kw, 4000W, 50kw) - Compactors, rollers, and graders (e.g., DD 25 roller, 84" soil compactors, 14H motor grader) - Dozers (D6, D7, D8, D10, 20,000-40,000 lb models) - Excavators (29,000-55,000 lb, Volvo EC300, link belt models) - Skidsteers (CAT 262, CAT 255 or equivalent) - Water trucks and wagons (2,000-10,000 gallons) - Dump trucks (5 and 10 yard) - Scrapers (631, 623 paddle wheel) - Portable light towers (Generac PLT240-STD LINKTower or equivalent) - Other specialized equipment (asphalt laydown machine, articulated booms, Gradall, flail mower) - Equipment models specified by OEM or equivalent accepted - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Vendor must provide all transportation, materials, equipment, labor, and incidentals for rental and operation - Ability to supply a broad range of equipment types and models, with equivalents accepted - Procurement managed electronically via Nevada Government eMarketplace (NGEM) system

Description

The City of North Las Vegas intends to award a contract for short term rentals of large heavy duty equipment to support various city-wide projects and flood and development control situations that arise annually. The contract will cover a range of equipment including diesel air compressors, generators, compactors, dozers, excavators, water trucks, rollers, graders, and other construction and maintenance machinery. Bids are to be submitted electronically through the Nevada Government eMarketplace (NGEM) system by June 2, 2026. An optional pre-bid meeting will be held on May 12, 2026, to discuss bid requirements and address questions.
