Amended to update solicitation DOS SUMMARY OF WORK-The site of this project is the Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Engineering Division?s Design Branch (EN-D), Cost Engineering Branch (EN-C), both on 3rd floor East and the Geosystems Branch (EN-GE) on 3rd floor West, located at 701 San Marco Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32207 The purpose of this project is to provide five enclosed office spaces for supervisory personnel. The first location (Design Branch) is to transform three (joined) existing cubicle spaces into three fully enclosed offices, by way of installing floor to ceiling walls, doors, and glass. The second location (Cost Engineering Branch) is to transform one existing corner cubicle space into a single fully enclosed office, by way of installing floor to ceiling walls, doors, and glass. The third location (Geosystems Branch) is to transform one existing cubicle space into a single fully enclosed office, by way of installing floor to ceiling walls, doors, and glass. All five build-outs will allow the transfer of natural light from existing windows within EN-D, EN-C and EN-GE. USACE Engineering Division requires the services of a commercial contractor to provide the supplies and services needed to complete this transformation. The USACE Office Building is not owned by the Federal Government, it is privately owned, and it is subject to the requirements of U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) and Bradford Allen. Provide the five office build-outs, a suite of (modern style) office furniture (desk, task chair, credenza, bookshelf and two side chairs). The contractor will furnish adequate supervision, personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, and other items to perform all services as defined in the Performance Work Statement except for those items specified as government furnished property and services. The contractor shall perform according to the contract in an orderly, timely and efficient manner. Unless otherwise indicated, items of work are inclusive of, but not limited to, all labor, materials, equipment, traffic control, safety measures, replacement of disrupted improvements, coordination, preparation and accommodation of project constraints (whether specifically identified in these specifications or encountered during the contract) necessary to complete the item in conformance with all applicable governing agency regulations and specifications to the satisfaction of the Government and inspecting agency. Items of work that are necessary to complete the project in accordance with the plans and specifications if any, but that are not specifically called out in the Schedule of Unit Prices, are considered incidental to the project and not subject to separate compensation. Contractor shall install/connect new walls to existing walls and fill voids between new wall panel and curtain wall with sound attenuating material and matching new wall surface(s). Contractor shall connect walls to make 5x office enclosures.
