THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) - AWARD OF A CONTRACT WILL NOT BE MADE AS A RESULT OF THIS NOTICE. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE FOR NON-COMMERCIAL SUPPLIES AND SERVICES AS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN FAR SUBPART 5.207/RFO FAR SUBPART 5.101 AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD) Detachment Norfolk has a requirement to obtain contractor support for Watercraft Industrial Support Detachment Norfolk (WISDN) to furnish the management, material, material support services, labor, equipment, power, and facilities to provide marine boatyard and industrial repairs to watercraft assigned to NSWCCD Detachment Norfolk. All work performed under this contract shall be performed at the Contractor local industrial facility. Watercraft assigned to NSWCCD Detachment Norfolk includes boats, watercraft, and vessels ranging in length from 1 foot to 100 feet. This notification is a Request For Information (RFI). Responses will assist in determining market interest, communication of requirements, and Small Business Opportunities. A DRAFT copy of the Statement of Work and Evaluation metrics (also referred to as L and M) is provided. The DRAFTS are provided to enable potential Offerors opportunity to review requirements and provide response. Interested parties should complete attachment 4, Market Research Questionnaire, and attachment 2, Draft SOW Question Sheet, as applicable. It is anticipated that the resultant award will be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) single award indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract. It is anticipated that the procurement will be solicited on an unrestricted basis under NAICS Code is 336612 – Boat Building. The small business size standard is 1,000 employees. The five year ordering period for this acquisition is anticipated to begin on or before June 1, 2027 for an ordering period of five full years. The Government anticipates the release of solicitation on or before 15 November 2026.The solicitation, any documents related to this procurement, and all amendments issued will be in electronic form.
