The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to replace duct insulation at the VA Northern Indiana Health Care Systems – Fort Wayne Campus. - Government Buyer: - Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 10 - Contracting office located at 260 E. University Avenue, Cincinnati, OH - Scope of Work: - Replace approximately 50 feet of duct insulation on the PACT roof of Building 1 - Remove and dispose of damaged insulation - Install 2-inch FSK fiberglass duct board - Re-jacket duct with aluminum guard - Seal insulation to prevent water intrusion - Requirements: - Contractor must provide all labor, equipment, materials, and supervision - Compliance with OSHA safety standards is mandatory - Must meet Buy American construction material requirements - SDVOSB/VOSB certification required - Products/Services: - No specific OEMs or product part numbers are specified - Main service is duct insulation replacement - Place of Performance: - VA Northern Indiana Health Care Systems – Fort Wayne Campus, 2121 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne, IN - Period of Performance: - 60 calendar days from notice to proceed, with work to start within 15 days of notice

Description

Contractor will provide all labor, equipment, materials, and supervision necessary to replace approximately 50 feet of duct insulation on the PACT roof of Building 1.  Contractor shall field verify all dimensions.

Shall remove and dispose of existing identified damaged insulation. Shall install 2” FSK fiberglass duct board. Shall rejacket the whole duct with aluminum guard. Shall seal insulation to prevent water intrusion. Shall follow all pertinent OSHA safety requirements.

All work to be completed at the VA- Northern Indiana Health Care Systems – Fort Wayne Campus, 2121 Lake Avenue. Fort Wayne, IN 46805-5100.

         Work to be completed within 60 calendar days from contractor receipt of notice to proceed.
