This opportunity involves facility system upgrades at U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) locations, with a focus on HVAC and electrical improvements: - Government Buyer: - U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS), including Iroquois National Wildlife Refuge and Construction A/E Team 2 - Products and Services Requested: - Replacement of HVAC system at Iroquois National Wildlife Refuge Quarters (Basom, NY) - Remove existing fuel-oil furnace and HVAC components - Install new energy-efficient propane furnace and central air conditioning - Replace all ductwork, condensate lines, refrigerant lines, and linesets (R-410A compatible, minimum R-9 insulation) - Remove and dispose of oil tank, manage hazardous waste per EPA and federal regulations - Install hardwired, code-compliant carbon monoxide/smoke detector with battery backup (Amanda's Law compliant) - Provide O&M manuals, warranty, submittals, and personnel training - Perform certified NEBB/AABC test, adjust, and balance (TAB) services - Prepare OSHA-compliant safety plan and hazard mitigation - Additional ducting/structural modifications as needed for unforeseen site conditions - Electrical system replacement and service upgrade at Harrison Lake National Fish Hatchery Visitor Center - Quantities: - All major tasks are single job/lump sum (1 each per line item) - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Strict compliance with federal, state, and local safety and environmental regulations (EPA 40 CFR, Clean Water Act, Clean Air Act, OSHA) - All work at federal wildlife refuge facilities - No specific OEMs or part numbers mandated, except for one NSN (7540-01-152-8067) for the HVAC/CO2 detector line item - Work must be completed within a 98-day period, with specific work hours and no weekend/holiday work unless authorized

Description

This contract is to replace the HVAC and install a wired carbon monoxide and smoke detector at IroquoisNational Wildlife Refuge Quarters located at 1109 Casey Road, Basom, NY 14013.The contractor will provide all materials and labor to remove the existing fuel-oil boiler and HVACcomponents at Refuge Quarters.
