The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Maritime - Puget Sound is seeking quotes for a specialized paint system for ship hulls at the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in Bremerton, WA. - Government Buyer: - Defense Logistics Agency Maritime - Puget Sound, Contracting Division (DLA-PME) - OEMs and Vendors: - Sherwin Williams (OEM for the specified paint) - Products/Services Requested: - 30 cans (5-gallon each) of Sherwin Williams Antifouling Paint (Part Number: N51R301) - Must be compliant with MIL-PRF-24647E - Red color, special purpose topside hull paint - Maximum VOC: 400 GPL - At least 85% shelf life remaining upon receipt - Includes hazardous material and safety data sheets - Certificate of Compliance (per DI-MISC-81356A, Exhibit A, Data Item Number A001) for each lot - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Manufacturer name and country of manufacture must be annotated in the quote - Compliance with NIST SP 800-171 required for contractors unless item is COTS - Strict hazardous material handling, shelf-life, and inspection requirements - Delivery required to Puget Sound Naval Shipyard IMF, Bremerton, WA - Electronic invoicing via WAWF - Quotes must be submitted electronically or by fax

THIS SOLICITATION AND ANY SUBSEQUENT AMENDMENTS WILL BE POSTED TO THE  SAM WEBSITE: SAM.GOV

ELECTRONIC SUBMISSION OF QUOTES IS AVAILABLE THROUGH THE SAM WEBSITE.

If choosing to quote, please complete and return the solicitation packet to me by the closing date to be considered.  

IN ORDER TO BE DEEMED RESPONSIVE, THE SOLICITATION MUST BE COMPLETED IN ITS ENTIRETY, AND MUST INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

1. Fill out box 17A, then Read box 28 and sign page 1 boxes 30 a, b, and c.

2. Provide your cage code.

3. Please quote FOB Destination Bremerton, WA.

4. Annotate the lead time.

5. Annotate the name of the manufacturer, and the products country of manufacturing.

6. Return this information with your quote.

In order to be considered for award, if the contractor (awardee) is required to implement NIST SP 800-171, the contractor (awardee) shall have a current assessment as detailed in DFARS 252.204-7019 (I.E., not more than 3 years old unless a lesser time is specified in the solicitation)

Items deemed to be Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) are exempt from NIST SP 800-171 requirement.  Must identify and provide information to contracting officer on bid during solicitation period
