Darnall Army Medical Center, Fort Hood EMS - OEM Highlight: - Motorola Solutions is the specified Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for all radio equipment - Products Requested: - 16 Motorola APX 8000 Portable Radios (Part Number: APX 8000) - 10 Motorola APX 8500 Mobile Radios (Part Number: APX 8500) - 6 Motorola APX NEXT Portable Radios (Part Number: APX NEXT) - 2 Motorola APX Consolette Base Stations (Part Number: APX Consolette) - Services Requested: - Programming of radios with specified frequencies, talk groups, and encryption, coordinated with Fort Hood EMS - Provision of training materials and manuals in both hard and electronic copies - Notable Requirements: - All radios must be P25 compliant, multi-band, and support advanced security features such as hardware encryption and over-the-air rekeying (OTAR) - Radios must be rugged, support interoperability across multiple frequency bands, and include features like adaptive audio, GPS tracking, and integrated data connectivity - Equipment must be delivered to Fort Hood and will undergo operational testing by Fort Hood EMS for acceptance - Training materials must be provided to ensure proper use and maintenance
