The U.S. Army is seeking a contractor to replace 16 foldable bay doors at Building 308, USAG Bavaria, Rose Barracks, within the Grafenwöhr Military Community in Germany. - Government Buyer: - Department of the Army, 409th Contracting Support Brigade (CSB), Regional Contracting Office Bavaria, Directorate of Public Works - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) or vendors are named in the solicitation or attachments - Products/Services Requested: - Replacement of 16 foldable bay doors (multi-wing, double-walled steel construction, various sizes and configurations) - Dismantling and disposal of existing doors and panels (including mineral wool insulation sampling and disposal per TRGS 521 regulations) - Delivery and installation of new folding sliding steel doors, including digital locking cylinders with transponders - Associated construction services: construction fencing, work platforms, forklift/telehandler provision, joint filling, painting, and commissioning/testing of door systems - Instruction and training for operating staff on new door systems - Quantities and Notable Line Items: - 16 foldable bay doors (12 doors: 6-wing, 6800x4800mm; 6 doors: 4-wing, 4400x4800mm) - 6 digital locking cylinders with 12 weather-resistant transponders - 48 construction fence units, 2 work platforms, 160 angle brackets, 310m and 470m of sheet steel, 88 profile fillers - 72 mineral wool samples and disposal actions, 88 joint fillings, 96 hinge grinds/paints, 80 floor rail paints - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Strict compliance with German safety, environmental, and disposal regulations (TRGS 521, asbestos/mineral wool handling) - Phased work to maintain continuous access to workstations - Digital locking system integration and commissioning by certified personnel - All work to be coordinated with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) and documented for compliance - All bids must be submitted in Euro and contractors must be registered to perform services in Germany - Place of Performance: - Building 308, USAG Bavaria, Rose Barracks, Grafenwöhr Military Community, Germany
