The U.S. Department of State is seeking proposals for residential furniture leasing services to support its diplomatic facilities in Canberra, Sydney, and Melbourne, Australia. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Department of State, American Consulate Sydney, General Services Office - Scope of Procurement: - Leasing, delivery, maintenance, and inventory management of residential furniture and appliances - Coverage includes lounge, dining, kitchen, bedroom, study, outdoor, and miscellaneous items - Contractor must provide all labor, materials, transportation, insurance, and overhead - Products Requested: - Wide range of furniture and appliances with specified quantities and part numbers - Examples include: - 12 two-seat sofas (Loveseat, part number 0001) - 15 large three-seat sofas (part number 0001AA) - 24 bookcases (part numbers 0001AF, 0005AB) - 12 queen bed frames (headboard, frame, base; part numbers 0006, 0007) - 10 washing machines (10kg Frontloader min., part numbers 0009AB) - 6 dryers (Heat Pump 8kg min., part numbers 0009AC) - Additional items: entertainment units, coffee tables, dining tables, nightstands, outdoor settings, refrigerators, microwaves, ergonomic desk chairs, rugs, mirrors, and more - Services Requested: - Delivery, adjustment, and pickup services for each location (Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne) - Delivery required within 15 days of task orders - Unique Requirements: - Firm-fixed price, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract - Payable in Australian dollars - Maintenance and inventory management included - Furniture adjustments to be completed within the base year - Period of Performance: - One base year with two one-year option periods (total up to three years and six months) - Places of Performance and Delivery: - U.S. Embassy Canberra - U.S. Consulate General Sydney (Suite 2, 50 Miller Street, North Sydney, NSW 2060) - U.S. Consulate General Melbourne - Delivery locations in Sydney, Canberra, and Melbourne - No specific OEMs or brands are named; vendors must supply quality, durable furniture and appliances suitable for diplomatic residences.

Description

A. GENERAL

A.1. The Contractor shall provide residential furniture leasing services for the U.S. Embassy in Canberra, the U.S. Consulate General in Sydney, and the U.S. Consulate General in Melbourne, Australia, in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW) and all attachments incorporated into this contract. The prices set forth herein shall be firm-fixed and shall include all costs associated with performance under this contract, including, but not limited to, labor, materials, transportation, insurance, overhead, and profit. No additional compensation shall be authorized unless otherwise specified in writing by the Contracting Officer. The Government shall pay the Contractor a firm-fixed price for services that are performed in a satisfactory manner and in full compliance with the terms and conditions of this contract.

A.2. This is a firm fixed-price Indefinite Delivery Indefinity Quantity type of contract payable entirely in Australian dollars, as indicated in Sub-Section C. Pricing. No additional sums will be payable on account of any escalation in the cost of materials, equipment or labor, or because of the Contractor's failure to properly estimate or accurately predict the cost or difficulty of achieving the results required by this contract, nor will the contract price be adjusted on account of fluctuations in the currency exchange rates. Changes in the contract price or time to complete will be made only due to changes made by the Government in the work to be performed, or by delays caused by the Government (see FAR 52.212.4(f), Excusable Delays), as determined and approved by the Contracting Officer.

B. PERFORMANCE WORK STATEMENT

B.1. The Contractor shall provide residential furniture leasing services for the U.S. Embassy in Canberra, the U.S. Consulate General in Sydney, and the U.S. Consulate General in Melbourne, Australia, in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW) and all attachments incorporated into this contract.

B.2. The period of performance of this contract is for one base year with two (2) one-year options.
