The St. Johns County School District in Florida is soliciting and awarding multi-year contracts for professional architectural and related consulting services for school facility projects. - Government Buyer: - St. Johns County School District, Facilities & Operations Department, Office of Facilities & Operations - Scope of Services: - Professional architectural design services for school projects, including: - Remodeling, renovations, additions, expansions, and new construction - Technology and energy updates, retrofits, and Department of Education grant projects - Roofing analysis, design, and re-roofing (in-house capability required) - Civil/site engineering, surveying, environmental, geotechnical, construction/materials testing, MEP, commissioning, and indoor air quality consulting - Contract Structure & Requirements: - Multi-year continuing contract, initial term of two years with up to three one-year renewals (maximum five years) - Individual project costs must not exceed statutory limits - Firms must have at least 10 years of experience in architectural and/or roofing design and be licensed in Florida - Demonstrated knowledge of educational facility laws and sustainable design is required - Submissions must include SF 330 Parts I & II, original wet signatures, and separate narratives for related and local school experience - No subconsultants permitted; all plans and specifications become property of the district - Award & Selection: - District intends to select 3–7 firms for architectural services, with additional awards for specialized services (e.g., roofing) - Firms recommended for award include: A/R/C Associates, Akel, Logan & Shafer, Bhide & Hall Architects, HKS Architects, LS3P Associates, PBK Architects Florida, Pond & Company, Schenkel & Shultz, Stratus Team, and REI Engineers (Roofing Only) - Notable Requirements: - In-house roofing design capability is mandatory for architectural firms - Experience with Florida educational facility regulations and public land use is essential

The St. Johns County School District is seeking professional architectural continuing contract services for various school-related projects. The scope includes architectural design services and roofing analysis and design services, covering remodeling, renovations, additions, expansions, new construction, technology updates, retrofits, energy updates, grants, roofing analysis, and re-roofing. The contract duration is up to five years, renewable annually, with project costs not exceeding statutory limits.
