Description

This is a Sources Sought Notice / Request for Information (RFI) only. This notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes it does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ), Request for Proposal (RFP), or a promise to issue a solicitation in the future. This request for information does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Further, the Government is not at this time seeking quotes and will not accept unsolicited quotes.

BACKGROUND AND REQUIREMENT The US Air Force Academy has a requirement for a Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) Liquid Chromatography System to replace existing equipment. To maintain operational continuity, avoid the purchase of new mass spectrometers, and prevent the need for extensive staff retraining and revalidation of chemical analysis methods, the new liquid chromatography system must be fully and natively compatible with the laboratory's existing Sciex QTRAP 5500 Mass Spectrometer. Salient characteristics are included in the attached.

CAPABILITY STATEMENT / REQUESTED INFORMATION Interested vendors who can provide a liquid chromatography system meeting the compatibility requirements outlined above and attached are requested to submit a brief capability statement. Responses should include the following information:

Company Information: Company Name, Address, Point of Contact (Name, Title, Email, Phone Number). Unique Entity ID (UEI) and CAGE Code. Socio-economic Status: Identify your business size and socio-economic status under NAICS 334516. Product Information/Capabilities: Briefly describe the proposed liquid chromatography system(s) you offer and confirm its native compatibility with the Sciex QTRAP 5500 mass spectrometer without the use of third-party bridging software. Include relevant manufacturer part numbers and country of origin if applicable. Also include your lead-time for delivery and estimated price. (Note: You will not be held to this price; it is for market research purposes only.) State whether you are the manufacturer or authorized reseller of the product(s).

SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS Responses to this Sources Sought Notice must be submitted via email to Tammy Martin at tammy.martin.6@us.af.mil no later than 12:00 p.m. Mountain Daylight Time (MDT) on 28 May 2026.
