The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Galveston District is seeking a contractor to provide comprehensive security and law enforcement services for its facilities at the Fort Point Reservation in Galveston, Texas. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Galveston District - Contracting office located at 2000 Fort Point Road, Galveston, TX 77550 - Scope of Services: - Security guard services for the Jadwin Building, warehouses, annex, boat yard, parking lot, fishing pier, and grounds - Roles include Guard Supervisor, Front Gate Guard, Control Center Guard (24/7), Roving Guards (various shifts), Seasonal Weekend Guards (Nov 1–Dec 15), and Special Events Guards - Minimum of 314 on-duty service hours per week - Armed and unarmed guards, with management, supervision, equipment, and supplies provided by the contractor - Additional guard services may be required during emergencies or special events - Requirements and Standards: - Guards must meet specific qualifications, training, and certification requirements, including firearms proficiency - Compliance with the Galveston District Guard Manual and USACE-mandated training - Adherence to physical fitness standards and government security regulations - Offerors must submit a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) with proposals - Employment terms for security personnel are governed by a collective bargaining agreement, including wage rates, benefits, and annual increases - No specific OEMs or product manufacturers are named; the procurement is for services only - Notable: The contract includes a base year and four option years, with the possibility of a six-month extension. PROJECT TITLE: FY26 NEW SECURITY AND LAW ENFORCEMENT SERVICES PROJECTLOCATION: GALVESTON, TEXAS PROVIDE NO LESS THAN 314 ON-DUTY SERVICE HOURS,PER SEVEN-DAY WORKWEEK AS DESCRIBED IN THE DISTRICT GUARD MANUAL.PROVIDE SECURITY GUARD SERVICES FOR THE BUILDINGS AND GROUNDS OF THE U.S.ARMY ENGINEER DISTRICT GALVESTON, FORT POINT RESERVATION. PERFORM ALLNECESSARY SERVICES TO ASSURE THE SAFETY AND PROTECTION OF GOVERNMENTPROPERTY AND PERSONNEL AGAINST INJURY OR DEATH, MOLESTATION, HARASSMENTOR INTIMIDATION AND LOSS OR DAMAGE FROM ANY PREVENTABLE CAUSE INCLUDINGBUT NOT LIMITED TO; FIRE, THEFT, EMBEZZLEMENT, DAMAGE OR DESTRUCTION,TRESPASS, ESPIONAGE, OR SABOTAGE.
