The National Park Service Alaska Regional Office is seeking contractors for the KLGO Pantheon/Red Front Roof Recover project at Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park in Skagway, Alaska. - Government Buyer: - National Park Service, Alaska Regional Office (Department of the Interior) - Contracting office located at 240 W 5th Avenue, Anchorage, AK - Project Scope: - Recover the roofs of the Pantheon Saloon and Red Front Buildings - Remove and replace existing bituminous built-up roofing membrane with a new polyvinyl-chloride (PVC) roofing system - Provide and deliver 270 feet of custom bent flashing for installation by NPS staff - Accommodate existing structures (e.g., brick chimney, boiler flue removal) - Coordinate with NPS personnel for scheduling and historic site considerations - Products and Materials Requested: - 60 mil light grey PVC thermoplastic membrane (ASTM D4434 Type III, fabric-reinforced, NSF/ANSI 347 Gold certified) - 1/4-inch fiberglass mat-faced gypsum-fiber roof board (ASTM C1177 compliant) - Fasteners (#14 extra heavy duty screws), steel membrane plates, aluminum termination bars - Prefabricated flashings and accessories (corners, parapets, stacks, vents, etc.) - Walkway pads (non-skid, maintenance-free, color matched) - Custom bent flashing (270 feet) - Notable Requirements: - 20-year manufacturer warranty on roofing system - Compliance with ASTM and UL standards - Sustainability certifications (NSF/ANSI 347 Platinum) - Safety, accident prevention, and environmental compliance - Coordination with NPS for historic finish work - All work must be completed and accepted by NPS prior to June 30, 2027 - Quantities: - 270 feet of custom bent flashing - Lump sum for roof recovery services - Set-Aside: - 100% small business set-aside (NAICS 238160, $19M size standard) - Period of Performance: - Estimated July 1, 2026 to September 30, 2026 (work to be completed by June 30, 2027) - Locations: - Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park, Skagway, AK - White Pass Administration Building, 307 Broadway Street, Skagway, AK - National Park Service, Alaska Regional Office, Anchorage, AK
