Pend Oreille County Public Utility District is seeking qualified engineering firms to provide as-needed consulting services for its electric transmission and distribution systems: - Government Buyer: - Public Utility District No. 1 of Pend Oreille County (Pend Oreille PUD), Washington State - Scope of Services: - Civil, geotechnical, electrical, and structural engineering - Project management for design and construction - Services include: - Site development, grading, stormwater management, and site utilities - Permitting support and environmental/archaeological studies - Geotechnical investigations, laboratory testing, and foundation recommendations - Substation design, power system studies, protection settings, and SCADA/communications integration - Transmission system and structural design for equipment, steel/concrete structures, and control buildings - Economic analysis and FERC process support - Notable Requirements: - Demonstrated experience with electric system projects and site evaluations - Experience with FERC processes and construction management - Selection is based on qualifications only; no pricing or rates required at this stage - Contract is a Master Professional Services Agreement with an initial three-year term and possible three-year renewals - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or product manufacturers are named; opportunity is open to qualified engineering consulting firms - Products/Services Requested: - As-needed engineering consulting services for electric transmission and distribution systems, including substations - No specific part numbers or product quantities; services are provided on an as-needed basis

Public Utility District No. 1 of Pend Oreille County is soliciting qualifications from engineering consultants or firms to provide as-needed engineering consulting services starting July 2026. The scope includes civil, geotechnical, electrical, structural engineering, and project management related to transmission and distribution systems including substations. The contract term is initially three years with possible renewals.
