Description
The City of Dallas is soliciting bids to establish a thirty-six (36) month Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) service price agreement for sewer odor and corrosion control services. The contract includes the purchase and injection of Liquid Ferrous Iron Salt (FeSO4), Liquid Ferrous Chloride (FeCl2), and Bioxide as chemical additives to the wastewater collection and treatment system infrastructure. The purpose is to safeguard the public and employees from odorous off-gases and associated nuisance, improve wastewater quality for better treatment and disposal, and protect infrastructure from corrosion. Services will be ordered on an as-needed basis during the contract term and will be utilized by Dallas Water Utilities.
