The Town of Needham Department of Public Works is seeking bids for comprehensive HVAC duct cleaning services at municipal and school buildings. - Government Buyer: - Town of Needham, Department of Public Works, Public Services Administration Building - Locations: - Needham Library (1139 Highland Avenue, Needham, MA) - Eliot Elementary School (135 Wellesley Avenue, Needham, MA) - Products/Services Requested: - Complete source removal duct cleaning of air conveyance systems, including air handling units, ductwork, exhaust systems, vents, diffusers, dampers, and related components - Cleaning of 35 fan coil units (FCUs), 3 energy recovery ventilators (ERVs), and 3 exhaust fans at the Library - Cleaning of 4 rooftop units (RTUs), 11 exhaust fans, 2 air handlers (gym), and 60 fan coil units at Eliot Elementary School - Requirements: - All work must comply with NADCA (National Air Duct Cleaners Association) and ASHRAE standards - Supervision by a certified NADCA Air Systems Cleaning Specialist (ASCS) - Use of truck-mounted equipment for duct cleaning - Detailed daily cleaning reports and adherence to safety and quality standards - Compliance with Massachusetts prevailing wage laws and submission of weekly payroll reports - Strongly encouraged pre-bid conference at project sites - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation - Contract period is approximately 7 weeks, with work to be performed between July and August - The contract is subject to annual appropriation and may be renewed if specified in the bid documents

Description

The Town of Needham is accepting sealed bids for Duct Cleaning Services. The scope includes HVAC duct cleaning services, cut and/or patch work, and/or truck-mounted equipment use related to HVAC ducts throughout the building located at 1139 Highland Ave. and 135 Wellesley Ave., Needham, MA. A pre-bid conference is scheduled for May 28, 2026, and sealed bids must be submitted by June 11, 2026. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive minor informalities.
