Unity Line, LLC d/b/a Manitowoc Port and Terminal Railway has filed a notice of exemption to operate approximately 1.5 miles of existing rail track in Manitowoc County, Wisconsin. The operation will serve as a private switching track for its affiliate, Briess Industries, Inc. The new Class III carrier will provide common carrier railroad service and expects to connect with the national railroad system through an arrangement with Wisconsin Central Ltd.
