This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.Solicitation Number 140D0426R0468 is hereby issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) for commercial aviation services in support of the U.S. Wildland Fire Service (USWFS) for the transportation of personnel, goods, and cargo between the Contiguous U.S. (Lower 48) and Alaska, with the Contractors¿ primary base of operations located in Boise, Idaho.This requirement is being issued by the United States Department of the Interior (DOI), Interior Business Center (IBC), Acquisition Services Directorate (AQD) in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Parts 12.This acquisition provides full and open competition, it is not set-aside for small business concerns. The solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses by reference. The full text of provisions and clauses may be accessed electronically at www.acquisition.gov.The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code applicable to this requirement is 481211, Nonscheduled Chartered Passenger Air Transportation. The size standard for the applicable NAICS is 1500 employees.
