The State of Florida Department of Military Affairs is seeking qualified contractors for a comprehensive facility sustainment and renovation project at the Palmetto Readiness Center in Palmetto, FL. - Government Buyer: - State of Florida, Department of Military Affairs (DMA), Florida Army National Guard, Construction & Facility Management Office - Project Scope: - Full facility sustainment for a 17,083 sq ft Readiness Center - In-kind or better replacement of mechanical equipment (exhaust fans, dehumidifiers, minisplit systems, humidistats, ducted air to vault, exhaust fan starters) - Installation of new HVAC components and upgrades - Electrical upgrades: new faceplates, GFI receptacles, weatherproof enclosures, and a new Hoffman floor mounted data cabinet in the communications room - Plumbing fixture replacements: flush valves, faucets, hose bibs, and ADA-compliant shower seats - Flooring upgrades: 100% APC tile replacement in drill hall, new resilient athletic flooring, new epoxy floors, cleaning and waxing of terrazzo floors, new roller shades, new wainscot at entry vestibule - Window and glazing system maintenance: re-caulking, wet sealing, tinting at drill hall clerestory, new weather seals on all exterior doors - Exterior and interior improvements: patch stucco, repainting, concrete base for uplighting, repainting bollards with traffic yellow epoxy - Unique/Notable Requirements: - All work must comply with Florida Building Code, State Fire Marshal, and local authority requirements - Bidders must be licensed general contractors, provide proof of bonding and insurance, and meet experience and proximity requirements - No specific OEMs are mandated; open to all qualified vendors - Estimated Construction Cost: - $2,173,045 - Place of Performance: - Palmetto Readiness Center, 1107 14th Ave W, Palmetto, FL 34221 - Contracting Office: - Robert F.
