Description

This project is at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The scope includes modernization of the interior of the facility to be a state-of-the-art research facility, without negatively impacting the historic exterior. Address renovations and upgrades to modernize interior finishes, repair interior walls, ceilings and finishes, and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing system upgrades. Renovate the interior of the facility to increase the available number of workstations for researchers and improve Cadet study areas. The design replaced exterior glazing to meet current AT/FP regulations. Renovate existing classrooms according to the ideals of the Classroom and the Future concept. Improve Cadet workshop areas and provided space for modern rapid prototyping and production methods, namely 3D printing.
