Description

The City of Atlanta, on behalf of the Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR), is initiating a Request for Proposals (RFP) to select a qualified Developer/Operator team for the redevelopment of the Blue Heron Nature Preserve. The project includes designing, financing, constructing, and operating a new nature center focused on environmental education, community engagement, and natural resource stewardship. The selected team will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive and sustainable facility and program. A Pre-Solicitation Conference and site visit are scheduled for June 4, 2026, with a response deadline of June 26, 2026.
