U.S. Navy T-6 and T-34 Aircraft Maintenance and Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) Services

The U.S. Navy is seeking contractor logistics support (CLS) and comprehensive maintenance services for T-6 and T-34 training aircraft across multiple Naval and Marine Corps Air Stations. - Government Buyer: - Department of the Navy, Portfolio Acquisition Executive Aviation (PMA-273), Chief of Naval Air Training Command (CNATRA), and Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation; however, the T-6 is manufactured by Textron Aviation (Beechcraft), and the T-34 by Beechcraft (now part of Textron Aviation). - Products/Services Requested: - Organizational, Intermediate, and Depot-level maintenance for T-6 and T-34 aircraft - Contractor logistics support (CLS) including labor, equipment, materials, and engineering services - Preservation, depreservation, surge flight hour maintenance, mobilization/demobilization, conditional (over & above) maintenance, component repair, engine/propeller overhaul, and technical/administrative data support - Extensive line items with part numbers and quantities for each location (e.g., 12 monthly units of T-6 maintenance per site, thousands of labor hours, multiple overhauls) - Notable Requirements: - Services span multiple locations: NAS Corpus Christi, NAS Whiting Field, NAS Pensacola, NAS Oceana, NAF El Centro, NAS Lemoore, and MCAS Miramar - Both firm-fixed-price and cost-reimbursable contract line items - Performance incentives and detailed metrics for service quality - Five-year base period with options to extend up to 66 months - Support includes both Navy and other service branches (e.g., USAF/NASA, Army) for some T-34 component repairs - Key Quantities and Part Numbers: - Examples: 12 monthly units of T-6 maintenance per site, 10,000+ labor hour premiums, 800 hours of T-34 component repair, 4 engine/propeller overhauls per site, and numerous cost-reimbursable items for parts, materials, and travel - Place of Performance: - All major Navy and Marine Corps training air stations listed above, with contracting offices at Patuxent River, MD
