Schafer Agricultural Research Center - OEMs and Vendors: - AMSCO (OEM for 250LS Small Steam Sterilizer) - Equivalent manufacturers may be considered for both sterilizers and steam generator - Products/Services Requested: - Two AMSCO 250LS (or equal) Small Steam Sterilizers - Chamber size: 20” x 20” x 38” (508 x 508 x 965 mm) - BSL2 compliant, includes loading rack, shelves, cart/transfer carriage, auto utility start up/shutdown, standby and green modes - One Electric Pure Steam Generator (Carbon Steel, compatible with AMSCO 250LS, 3-stage impurity separation, continuous hot water circulation) - Installation services for all equipment - Includes uncrating, inspection, assembly, utility and electrical connections, placement, leveling, packaging removal, site cleanup - Contractor personnel must be licensed and experienced in steam piping and controls - Deliverables: submittals, testing, O&M manuals, warranties - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Brand name or equal products accepted; descriptive literature required for "equal" submissions - Compliance with BSL2 laboratory standards - Installation must meet technical and past performance criteria - All work to be performed at the NCSL Greenhouse Complex, Ranges J and B, Fargo, ND - Firm-fixed price contract; early delivery accepted; completion required within 60 days after notice to proceed - Small business set-aside under NAICS 334516

Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12.  This announcement constitutes the only solicitation.  Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. 

Solicitation number 1232SA26Q0591 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ):

Furnish two (2) AMSCO® 250LS (or equal/similar) Small Steam Sterilizers Chamber Size 20” x 20” x 38” (508 x 508 x 965 mm). Furnish one (1) Electric Pure Steam Generator. Installation of two (2) AMSCO® 250LS (or equal/similar) Small Steam Sterilizers Chamber Size 20” x 20” x 38” (508 x 508 x 965 mm). Installation of one (1) Electric Pure Steam Generator.

All work must be performed in accordance with Statement of Work (SOW) attachment.

This acquisition  is set-aside for small business concerns.  The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 334516  The small business size standard is 1,000 employees.  This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside.  All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.
