The U.S. Secret Service is seeking a 5-year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for 5.56mm NATO and .308 Winchester/7.62 NATO Match rifle ammunition to support firearms training and duty requirements at the James J. Rowley Training Center and other USSS facilities. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Secret Service (USSS), Department of Homeland Security - Offices include Headquarters (Washington, DC), James J. Rowley Training Center (Laurel, MD), and USSS Communications Center (Washington, DC) - Products Requested: - 5.56mm NATO standard rifle ammunition - Must meet military and SAAMI specifications for accuracy, velocity, and reliability - Packaged 10 rounds per stripper clip, 20 rounds per box, 1,000 rounds per case - .308 Winchester/7.62 NATO Match rifle ammunition - Must meet SAAMI and ANSI standards for match-grade performance - Packaged 20 rounds per box, 200 rounds per case - Initial test samples: 1,000 rounds of each ammunition type required for evaluation - Quantities: - IDIQ structure with a minimum order value of $10,000 and a maximum of $10.5 million over 5 years - Specific quantities per order to be determined by task orders - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Strict compliance with military, SAAMI, and ANSI standards - Ammunition must be new, brass-cased, and function reliably in designated USSS weapons - Quality, packaging, and testing requirements are detailed and must be met - Delivery required within 90 days of order receipt - Compliance with National Firearms Act and all federal regulations - Small business set-aside; technical, past performance, and price proposals required - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation; any qualified manufacturer meeting the technical requirements may compete - Place of Performance/Delivery: - James J.
