The Department of Justice's Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) is seeking a contractor to provide full-time Canine Kennel Technician services for its National Canine Division (NCD). - Government Buyer: - Department of Justice, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) - National Canine Division (NCD), Acquisitions Management Division, Property, Acquisitions and Safety Division (PASD) - Products/Services Requested: - Full-time Canine Kennel Technician services - Tasks include specialized canine care, kennel maintenance, healthcare services, administrative support, and transportation for explosives detection canine training programs - One technician required per year, for up to five years (base year plus four option years) - No specific products, part numbers, or OEMs are mentioned; this is a service-only procurement - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Contract is a Total Small Business Set-Aside and will be structured as a Multiple Award Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) with firm fixed pricing - Personnel security requirements include background investigations and access controls - Occasional travel may be required for the technician - Period of performance is up to 60 months, with an option to extend services for up to six additional months - Place of Performance: - Primary work location is the National Canine Division in Front Royal, Virginia - Contracting and payment offices are located at 99 New York Ave NE, Washington, DC 20226

Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This is a Request for Quote (RFQ) and the solicitation document, and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through (FAC) 2026-01.  The RFQ number associated with this combined synopsis/solicitation is # 15A00026Q00000066.

All questions regarding this RFQ shall be submitted in writing and sent via email to Brian.Wilkins@atf.gov RFQ # 15A00026Q00000066. All questions shall be received by 5:00PM EST on May 27, 2026. Questions received after the stated time and date will not be addressed. Telephonic requests or inquiries will not be accepted.

All quotes are due on June 5, 2026, at 5:00PM EST and sent via email to Brian.Wilkins@atf.gov shall reference the RFQ # 15A00026Q00000066 quote received after the stated date and time will not be accepted or evaluated.

The contractor/awardee must comply with provisions and clauses/terms & conditions (T&Cs) incorporated herein via full text and by reference.
