The Government of Nunavut is seeking qualified firms to provide a comprehensive suite of professional services supporting tourism and cultural industries through a multi-year Standing Offer Agreement (SOA): - Government Buyer: - Government of Nunavut, Department of Transportation & Infrastructure Nunavut, Procurement, Logistics & Contracts Support, on behalf of the Department of Community Services - Services Requested (Eight Service Lots): - Project and event management (e.g., organizing conferences, workshops, trade shows, community consultations, advertising, logistics) - Strategic planning and program design (e.g., business case development, feasibility studies, policy and guideline development) - Communications, public relations, and facilitation (e.g., communication plans, media campaigns, stakeholder engagement) - Tourism and cultural industries training (e.g., Indigenous tourism training, skills development, workshop delivery) - Research (e.g., data collection, visitor surveys, economic impact monitoring, market assessments) - Marketing, branding, media planning and buying (e.g., branding, graphic design, social media, digital media buying, campaign evaluation) - Video and photography (e.g., scriptwriting, filming, editing, post-production) - Exhibition and maintenance (e.g., exhibition installation, restoration, signage, facility maintenance, conservation, curatorial services, taxidermy) - Notable Requirements: - Proposals must demonstrate Inuit labour and local business engagement in accordance with Nunavummi Nangminiqaqtunik Ikajuuti (NNI) Regulations - Emphasis on cultural competence and ability to deliver services remotely across Nunavut - Compliance with Nunavut laws and rapid response capability (some projects require response within 24 hours to 5 business days) - No specific OEMs or commercial vendors are named in the solicitation - The SOA is open to all qualified vendors and accessible to all Government of Nunavut agencies

Description

The Government of Nunavut, Department of Transportation & Infrastructure Nunavut, on behalf of the Department of Community Services, is issuing a Request for Proposals for a qualified firm to provide professional, advisory, communications, training, media, and design services related to tourism and cultural industries. The scope includes project and event management, strategic planning, communications, training services, research, marketing, media planning and buying, video and photography, and exhibition and maintenance services. The successful proponents will enter into a Standing Offer Agreement available to the Government of Nunavut and its agencies, but not exclusive to the Department of Community Services. Proposals must be submitted by June 19, 2026, at 16:00 local time in Iqaluit.
