Description

SUNY Upstate Medical University intends to purchase medical products from a contract awarded by a consortium (GPO) pursuant to its authority under section 163 (3) (vi), which authorizes the purchase of commodities from a consortium or comparable entity in lieu of using a centralized contract and without a formal competitive process when justified by price. Vendors who sell products that are equivalent or functionally equivalent to those listed in the contract title may contact the listed representative to discuss procurement. Equivalency must be demonstrated by meeting the clinical performance and KPIs of the products. Interested parties must provide a complete cross-reference to the attached products, including each item’s pricing, unit of measure, and UOM quantities, and prove they are the original manufacturer or an authorized distributor or re-seller. The vendor must be able to furnish products for evaluation, demonstration, and trial.
