Jefferson Parish is seeking qualified firms to provide Coastal Engineering and Consulting Services for a variety of as-needed projects across the parish. - Government Buyer: - Jefferson Parish Purchasing Department, Department of Coastal Management - Office located at General Government Building, 200 Derbigny Street, Suite 4400, Gretna, LA - Scope of Services: - Coastal engineering and consulting for restoration, shoreline stabilization, marsh and ridge restoration, and living shoreline design - Civil, hydraulic, hydrologic, and environmental engineering - Mapping, CAD support, planning, permitting, design, bidding, and construction administration - Hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, biological and environmental assessments, technical evaluations, and cost estimates - Field investigations, grant writing, outreach, educational support, and development of marketing materials - Supplemental services: surveying (including bathymetric) and geotechnical services - Requirements: - At least one principal who is a licensed professional engineer in Louisiana - Professional in charge with a minimum of five years' experience - At least one employee licensed in the applicable engineering discipline - Submission of Jefferson Parish TEC Questionnaire and identification of all subcontractors - Affidavits regarding campaign contributions, debts, and subcontractors required before contract approval - Contract Details: - Three-year contract period ending April 5, 2028 - Maximum annual fee cap of $500,000 per project - Services provided on an as-needed basis for miscellaneous projects parishwide - No specific OEMs or product vendors are named; this is a professional services solicitation

Description

The Parish of Jefferson is soliciting Statements of Qualifications from additional persons or firms interested and qualified in providing Coastal Engineering and Consulting Services on an as-needed basis for miscellaneous projects throughout Jefferson Parish. The services include coastal restoration and protection such as marsh and ridge restoration, shoreline stabilization, beneficial use of dredge material, living shoreline design, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, biological and environmental assessments, coastal grant writing, outreach, and educational support. Projects may also include supplemental services like surveying and geotechnical services. Compensation will be on an hourly or fixed fee basis with a maximum annual fee cap of $500,000 per project for the remainder of the three-year period ending April 5, 2028.
