The U.S. Air Force at Misawa Air Base is seeking a qualified contractor to provide Protestant Music Director services for weekly worship and special seasonal services at the Misawa Air Base Chapel in Japan. - Government Buyer: - Department of the Air Force, Pacific Air Forces, 35th Contracting Squadron (35 CONS PK) - 35th Fighter Wing/Chapel, Misawa Air Base, Japan - Services Requested: - Protestant Music Director to lead choral and congregational music for weekly Protestant worship services (52 per year), rehearsals, and up to 12 special seasonal services annually - Recruit and lead a minimum four-person worship team - Coordinate music selections with chaplains - Ensure setup, teardown, and security of worship spaces - Maintain compliance with base regulations - Key Requirements: - Music proficiency and experience in choral/congregational direction - English communication skills - Ability to pass security clearances and background checks - Music demonstration and/or music education or experience required - Government-Furnished Equipment: - Workspace, piano/keyboard, sound equipment, and office supplies provided - No specific OEMs, products, or part numbers are mentioned; this is a service-only contract - Period of performance includes a base year with up to four option years (annual renewal possible)

Description

Misawa Air Base is seekig qualified vendors to provide a non-personal service. The contractor shall, under the guidance of the Protestant Worship Service Chaplain(s), serve as the primary music director to provide choral and congregational musical direction in support of and meet the needs of a weekly Protestant (Sunday) Worship Service at the Misawa AB Chapel, Bldg. 358 IAW attached PWS.
