The National Park Service is seeking a contractor to supply and install new modular carpet tiles at the Ulysses S. Grant National Historic Site Visitor Center in Affton, Missouri. - Government Buyer: - Department of the Interior, National Park Service (NPS), Contracting Operations Central - Midwest Region (MWR) office, Omaha, NE - Products and Services Requested: - Approximately 12,000 sq ft of commercial-grade modular carpet tiles (Tarkett Aftermath II or equivalent) - Patterned loop construction, Dynex SD Nylon fiber, 24x24 inches, soil and stain release, 10-year warranty - Color to be selected by Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) from full manufacturer range - Aluminum stair nosing for stairs, color selected by COR - Six cases of additional carpet squares for future use - Carpet removal and replacement service, including: - Removal of existing rolled carpet from all floors and stairwells - Moving and replacing furniture (including theater seating and bookshelves) - Subfloor preparation per manufacturer guidelines - Installation of new carpet tiles and stair nosing - Repainting or replacing quarter rounds - Carpet cleaning after installation - Notable Requirements: - All work must be completed within 90 calendar days of award (including supply, installation, and weather delays) - Contractor must coordinate with COR to minimize visitor disruption - Set aside for SBA small business participants under NAICS 314110 - Site visit required prior to quote submission - All labor, materials, supervision, and equipment to be provided by contractor - OEMs and Vendors: - Tarkett (manufacturer of specified carpet tile, "Aftermath II") - No other specific OEMs or vendors named - Quantities: - ~12,000 sq ft of carpet tile - 6 cases of additional carpet squares - 1 full-service installation/removal project
