The FDA's Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research (CBER), Office of Vaccines Research and Review (OVRR), is seeking a contractor to provide a comprehensive bulk carbon dioxide (CO2) supply solution at the Federal Research Center White Oak Campus in Silver Spring, MD. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research (CBER), Office of Vaccines Research and Review (OVRR) - Products and Services Requested: - Supply and delivery of 156 tons of beverage grade, 99.9% pure bulk CO2 for a government-owned storage tank (Make: Chart Inc., Model: VS-6 Ton CC350) - Contractor-supplied telemetry tank monitoring system with backup power and automatic monitoring - Installation, testing, verification, and maintenance of the telemetry system, including service parts and backup batteries - CO2 tank filling and inspection services, including safety inspections before and after fills, monitoring of valves and fittings, and emergency response to low supply within 2 hours - OEMs and Vendors: - Chart Inc. (manufacturer of the government-owned CO2 tank) - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Telemetry system must provide continuous, automated monitoring of CO2 levels with backup power - Emergency response capability for low CO2 supply within 2 hours - All CO2 must be beverage grade and at least 99.9% pure - Contractor responsible for both product delivery and ongoing system maintenance - Place of Performance: - Federal Research Center White Oak Campus, Silver Spring, MD
