This opportunity seeks contractors to provide comprehensive packing, crating, moving, and storage services for household goods and unaccompanied baggage of Department of Defense personnel, primarily at McConnell Air Force Base and across designated Kansas counties. - Government Buyer: - Department of Defense, U.S. Air Force, Air Mobility Command, 22 CONS LGC at McConnell Air Force Base - Scope of Services: - Packing, containerization, local drayage, storage, delivery, unpacking, and related services for personal property shipments - Services cover outbound, inbound, and intra-city/intra-area moves - Includes premove surveys, weighing, appliance servicing, inventorying, marking, claims handling, and full replacement value coverage - Container furnishing (ASTM and SDDC standards), remarking, coopering, assembly/disassembly, attempted pickup/delivery, reweighing, and partial withdrawals - Storage of containerized articles with specific timing and charge requirements - Products/Line Items: - Numerous service line items for outbound/inbound moves, overflow/oversize shipments, unaccompanied baggage, storage, container supply, and related logistics - Example quantities: 352 outbound household goods moves at residences, 232 inbound moves, 50 storage lots, 10-30 containers/crates, and various specialized services - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Compliance with SCA Wage Determinations and detailed Performance Work Statement (PWS) - Containers must meet ASTM-D4169-01, SDDC Pam 55-12, and ASTMD6039/D6039M-02 standards - Full replacement value claims coverage and strict quality control - Contractor must be available for order receipt and scheduling during standard business hours - Period of Performance: - Base year plus four option years, spanning five years total - Place of Performance: - McConnell Air Force Base, KS (primary) - Area 1 (Zone 57): Butler, Harvey, Sedgwick, Sumner counties - Area 2 (Zone 58): Allen, Barber, Barton, Bourbon, Chase, Chautauqua, Cherokee, Clark, Comanche, Cowley, Crawford, Edwards, Elk, Ford, Greenwood, Harper, Hodgeman, Kingman, Kiowa, Labette, Marion, McPherson, Montgomery, Neosho, Ness, Pawnee, Pratt, Reno, Rice, Rush, Stafford, Wilson, Woodson counties - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or commercial vendors are named; container standards reference ASTM and SDDC specifications - Potential Competitors: - Major national and regional moving, storage, and logistics companies with government experience

McConnell AFB is looking for qualified vendors to provide packing and crating support of household goods for members. See attached documents for more information on the requirement and how to submission instructions. 

Questions for this requirement are due no later than 10:00 local on 27 May 2026. All answers will be posted by close of business on 29 May 2026.
