U.S. Air Force Seeks Flooring Maintenance and Replacement Services at Grand Forks AFB

The U.S. Air Force at Grand Forks Air Force Base is seeking qualified contractors for a five-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to provide comprehensive flooring and carpeting maintenance and replacement services. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Air Force, 319th Contracting Squadron, Grand Forks Air Force Base - Products and Services Requested: - Full-scope flooring and carpeting maintenance, including: - Removal of existing flooring and accessories - Surface preparation (including moisture and alkalinity testing) - Repair and patching of floors - Installation of new flooring materials (broadloom carpet, modular carpet, modular walk-off carpet, rubber tiles, rubber stair treads/nosing, luxury vinyl tile, transition strips, resilient wall base) - Initial cleaning and surface coatings - Disposal of debris at off-base locations - Furniture handling as needed - All materials, equipment, and labor must be provided by the contractor - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs are mandated, but basis of design and approved vendors include: - Roppe Rubber Tile (for rubber tiles and stair treads) - ShawContract (for luxury vinyl tile collections) - Materials must be sourced from approved Enterprise Carpet Contract vendors - The incumbent contractor is Greenstone Construction Inc. - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Contractors must comply with Air Force standards (UFGS 09 68 00, CRI 104, UFGS 09 65 00) - Quality control, safety plans, and adherence to base security protocols are required - Work is generally performed during normal hours, with provisions for non-standard hours upon approval - Each task order will specify detailed requirements and schedule - Place of Performance: - All work will be performed at Grand Forks Air Force Base, North Dakota - No specific part numbers or quantities are provided; requirements will be defined per task order.

Description

The 319th Contracting Squadron, Grand Forks AFB, North Dakota, is issuing this Sources Sought as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having the resources to provide the following:

The work under this project consists of providing all material, equipment, and labor necessary for maintaining flooring/carpeting and other services necessary to perform Grand Forks Air Force Flooring IDR work for GFAFB in accordance with the attached specifications. The work may include, but is not limited to, the following: Verification of Dimensions, Flooring Removal, Patch flooring, Surface Preparation, Installation, Disposal of Debris, Furniture.
