Sources Sought Notice – Grand Forks AFB Aircraft Structural Maintenance (ASM) Paint Booth Preventative Maintenance Services
THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION!
This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government.
The contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, and labor necessary to deliver comprehensive preventative maintenance services for the Paint and Sanding Booths, Blasting Media Cabinets, and Compressed Air System supporting the Aircraft Structural Maintenance section at Grand Forks AFB, ND. Services shall include inspection, servicing, repair, filter supply, quarterly air quality testing, and timely response to unscheduled maintenance, in accordance with the attached draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) and all applicable federal, state, and Air Force standards.
All work must comply with National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP), American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists (ACGIH) guidelines, Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specifications, and base access/security requirements.
The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement.

All interested firms should submit a capabilities package that includes:
Overview of your firm’s ability to provide comprehensive preventative maintenance for paint and sanding booths, blasting media cabinets, and compressed air systems. Summary of management and labor resources available for this requirement. Three past performance references (include current contact information and contract number). Description of any anticipated subcontracting, including: Percentage of work to be subcontracted Whether subcontractors are small or large businesses Brief summary of relevant experience in similar maintenance contracts. Explanation of any teaming or subcontracting arrangements, including prior teaming experience.
The response must not exceed 3 pages.
