This opportunity seeks a qualified contractor to provide trash collection and disposal services for the Syracuse Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS) at Hancock Field Air National Guard Base in Syracuse, NY. - Government Buyer: - Department of Defense, U.S. Army, Mission Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Fort Knox - Syracuse Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS) - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) or vendors are named; the requirement is open to qualified small businesses - Products/Services Requested: - Weekly trash collection and disposal services - One (1) 4-yard dumpster (or equivalent) to be furnished and maintained by the contractor - On-demand overflow pickups within 48 hours - Maintenance of clean, functional dumpsters - Proper disposal at licensed facilities - Contractor must provide all personnel, labor, equipment, tools, materials, and transportation - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including NYSDEC and EPA standards - Set aside for SBA-eligible small businesses (including 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, and WOSB) - Place of performance is a federal facility on a military base - Contract includes a 12-month base period, four one-year option periods, and a six-month extension option
