Comprehensive PREA Audit Function Support Services Sought by DOJ

The Department of Justice's Office of Justice Programs, through the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) and its PREA Management Office, is seeking industry input for comprehensive support services related to the Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) Audit Function. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Justice Programs, Bureau of Justice Assistance, PREA Management Office - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation or attachments - Products/Services Requested: - Training, certifying, and recertifying approximately 150 PREA auditors - Includes application management, virtual/in-person training, exams, background checks, probationary certification, continuing education, and recertification - Auditor oversight and remediation - Monitoring compliance, peer reviews, disciplinary actions, and documentation review - Audit Instrument management and enhancement - Updating audit tools, coordinating with the PREA Online Audit System, and providing training/help desk support - Audit Assignment System administration - Operating and migrating the system, reviewing audit submissions, maintaining a public audit directory - Web-based clearinghouse management - Migrating, managing, and updating PREA audit resources, directories, training materials, and providing help desk support - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Certification of two auditor cohorts within three years - Ongoing recertification every three years - Continuous training, oversight, and support for PREA auditors - Migration and management of web-based systems and resources - Place of Performance: - DOJ Office of Justice Programs, 999 North Capitol Street, Washington, DC 20531
