The California Department of State Hospitals (DSH) is seeking a contractor to provide comprehensive drapery and blinds cleaning and maintenance services across multiple state hospital facilities. - Government Buyer: - State of California, Department of State Hospitals (DSH), Metropolitan office - Scope of Services: - Cleaning, repair, replacement, alterations, and related maintenance for draperies and blinds - Services to be performed at DSH-Metropolitan, DSH-Atascadero, DSH-Coalinga, DSH-Patton, DSH-Sacramento, and DSH-Napa - Includes cleaning approximately 9,500 widths of drapery, 475 privacy curtains, 300 shower curtains, and 50 blinds - Repair and alteration of drapes, rod/track repair and replacement, re-hanging, and moving draperies/blinds - Contractor must provide all materials, supplies, tools, equipment, licenses, certifications, permits, insurance, and a properly equipped service vehicle - Training and Compliance: - Contractor personnel must complete DSH Orientation (up to 5 days) and annual Therapeutic Strategies and Interventions (TSI) Training (approx. 4 hours) - Compliance with security, background checks, and COVID-19 protocols required - Subcontracting is prohibited - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) or brands are specified; open to qualified service providers - Notable Requirements: - Services are as-needed throughout the contract period - Contractor must meet all legal, insurance, and operational requirements for work in healthcare environments
