Description
Vermont has received a Rural Health Transformation grant to build stronger rural health networks and improve technology and shared operations. This solicitation seeks a qualified third-party organization to serve as the program manager and implementation lead for a shared electronic medical record (EMR)/electronic health record (EHR) platform. The goal is to enhance data sharing and care coordination across rural hospitals and provider entities statewide. The shared EMR/EHR system must complement Vermont's Health Information Exchange and promote interoperability and a more complete longitudinal health record. Participation by healthcare providers in the shared EMR/EHR will be voluntary.
