Jefferson Parish is seeking bids for a two-year contract to supply a wide range of couplings, restraining devices, and related gaskets for the Department of Public Works and all parish agencies and municipalities. - Government Buyer: - Jefferson Parish Purchasing Department, Department of Public Works - OEMs and Vendors: - EBAA Iron (Series 1000, 1100DEC, 1500, 1600, 1700, 2000PEC) - Romac (MacroTM couplings) - Hymax (steel body transition couplings) - Products/Services Requested: - Steel body transitional couplings (non-restrained), Hymax or approved equal, for pipe sizes 2"-24" - Ductile iron body transitional couplings (non-restrained), MacroTM by Romac or approved equal, for pipe sizes 4"-12" - Flange coupling adapters (restrained and non-restrained, epoxy and Teflon coated, 1.5"-48") - EBAA Iron Series 1000 E-Z Flange, Series 1100DEC Megalug, Series 1500/1600 Split Restraint Harnesses (C900 pipe), Series 1700 Megalug (ductile iron bells), Series 2000PEC Mechanical Joint Restraint - Bell restraint harnesses (C900 and ductile iron, 4"-36") - Transition couplings (1.5"-20" and larger) - Joint restrainers (D.I. and C900, 3"-48") - Transition gaskets (asbestos cement to cast iron, 6"-12") - Mechanical joint gaskets (ductile iron pipe, 3"-48") - Pipe lubricant (12 quarts per case) - Notable Requirements: - All products must meet specified technical standards (AWWA, ASTM, NSF) - Warranty coverage for one year after delivery - All freight and delivery costs included in bid - No substitutions without written consent from the Engineering Department - Equivalent products may be proposed if they meet all specifications - Quantities: - Ranges from 2 to 680 units per item, with detailed part numbers provided for each line item - Delivery/Performance: - Delivery to Jefferson Parish warehouse locations on both East and West Banks - Escalation provision after 12 months upon written request
