Gwinnett County is seeking contractors for a five-year, multi-award contract to restore landscape and concrete following utility repairs: - Government Buyer: - Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners, Department of Water Resources - Contracting office: Gwinnett County Financial Services - Purchasing Division - Products and Services Requested: - Extensive concrete work: curb & gutter (various sizes), sidewalks, driveways, medians, and structures - Asphalt patching (hot mix, variable depths) - Catch basin components: tops, throats, lids (single/double wing) - Grading, aggregate base, prime base, and paved ditches - Landscape restoration: sod replacement, seed & straw, hydroseed/hydromulch, topsoil - Miscellaneous labor (foreman, operator, truck driver, laborer) and emergency mobilization - Material cost plus markup (not to exceed 10%) - Quantities: - 7,200 linear feet of concrete curb & gutter (6 x 24 x 12 high) - 3,000 tons of hot mix asphalt patching (9.5mm SP & tack) - 8,500 square yards of seed & straw - 14,500 square yards of sod replacement - Additional detailed quantities for each line item - Notable Requirements: - Compliance with Georgia DOT specifications - Valid Utility Contractors License - 5% bid bond, 100% performance and payment bonds - Insurance and bonding companies must meet state and federal standards - Primary and secondary contractor structure: secondary is called if primary cannot complete work within 21 days - County may split or fully award the contract and reserves negotiation rights - No specific OEMs or brand names are specified; work is based on industry standards and DOT specs

Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified suppliers for the restoration of landscape and concrete resulting from utility repairs. This is a multi-year contract for five years for the Department of Water Resources. The contract will be awarded to two contractors: a primary contractor and a secondary contractor who will perform work if the primary is unable to complete tasks within 21 days.
