Wake County Public School System (WCPSS) is seeking experienced contractors to provide hardwood floor refinishing services at district facilities. - Government Buyer: - Wake County Public School System (WCPSS), under the Wake County Board of Education - OEMs and Vendors: - Bona (specified for finishing products) - Contractors must be members of the Maple Flooring Manufacturers Association (MFMA) - Products/Services Requested: - Hardwood floor refinishing services, including: - Sanding, sealing, court lining, repainting striping, lettering, logos, and finishing - Use of Bona Sport Seal and Bona All Court products is mandatory - Contractor must provide generator and dust containment system - Pricing is per square foot - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Contractors must have at least 5 years of experience in hardwood floor refinishing - MFMA membership is required - Work to be performed at various WCPSS facilities throughout the district - Site visits may be scheduled through WCPSS staff - All communications must be in writing to the designated buyer - The contract term is one year with options for two additional one-year extensions - Not subject to federal funding; if federal funding is required, a new solicitation will be issued
