The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers – New England District is issuing a Pre-Solicitation Notice for Annual Slope and Open Space Mowing Services, Hop Brook Lake, Middlebury, CT and Hancock Brook Lake, Plymouth, CT
QUESTIONS REGARDING THE PROCUREMENT WILL NOT BE ANSWERED DURING THE PRESOLICITATION PHASE. SUBMIT QUESTIONS TO THE CONTRACT SPECIALIST AFTER THE SOLICITATION AND ASSOCIATED DOCUMENTS HAVE BEEN POSTED.
THE WORK CONSISTS OF: Furnish all equipment, materials and labor to perform the annual slope and open space mowing services at Hop Brook Lake, Middlebury, CT and Hancock Brook Lake, Plymouth, CT. Hop Brook Lake includes approximately 11 acres, and Hancock Brook Lake includes approximately 4.5 acres of mowing each year.
Dam embankment, dike mowing, trail side mowing and roadside mowing may require the use of specialized equipment.
This is not a request for quotes at this time. The solicitation requirements and contract documents, to include instructions for submission, and the response date will be available on or about June 5, 2026. Neither telephonic, mailed nor faxed requests for hard copies of this solicitation will be accepted.
