Alberta Agriculture and Irrigation (AGI), through its Water Infrastructure and Operations Branch (WIOB), is soliciting proposals for general steel and structural services to support water management infrastructure in southern Alberta. - Government Buyer: - Alberta Agriculture and Irrigation (AGI), Water Infrastructure and Operations Branch (WIOB) - Products/Services Requested: - Specialized fabrication, maintenance, modification, and repair of steel structures - Includes ladders, handrails, grating, platforms, bridge sections, piping, fencing, and other steel fabrications - Construction and installation of specialty items such as access hatches, gate or valve flanges, piping, structural members, swing gates - On-call welding services - Preparation of detailed estimates, shop drawings, erection plans, and product data - Some activities may require oversight from a Consultant Engineer - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Work may be performed on-site at water infrastructure locations or at the contractor’s shop - Proponents must be able to provide rapid response for maintenance and repairs - Services are intended to extend the service life of WIOB infrastructure - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation - Locations: - Work will be performed within the Southern Operations Region of Alberta, including sites near Cardston, Pincher Creek, Fort Macleod, Mountain View, Stavely, and Medicine Hat
