The San Jacinto River Authority (SJRA) is seeking proposals for the rehabilitation and replacement of pumping equipment at Water Well Nos. 3 and 13 in The Woodlands Division, Montgomery County, Texas. - Government Buyer: - San Jacinto River Authority (SJRA), Woodlands Division - Project Scope: - Rehabilitation and/or replacement of vertical turbine pump assemblies, column pipes, line shafts, oil tubing, tension nut and plate assemblies, zinc anodes, and water-level measuring pipes for two water wells - Well cleaning, including oil disposal, wire brushing, jetting, chlorine treatment, and optional acid treatment and airlift pumping - Removal, inspection, and reinstallation of motors, discharge heads, and pump assemblies - Video surveys, performance testing, and written reporting for both wells - Site restoration, including reassembly of sound walls, fencing, and restoration of grade and sod - Products/Materials Requested: - Vertical turbine permanent pump bowl assemblies (Fusion-Bonded Epoxy coated, 17-4PH stainless steel shafts) - 10-inch diameter threaded column pipes, line shafts, oil tubing, and associated couplings and stabilizers - Ribbon-type zinc anodes, stainless steel PVC-wrapped airline, oil-filled pressure gauges, lubrication kits, and PVC water-level measuring pipes - Services Requested: - Contractor mobilization/demobilization, well cleaning and rehabilitation, inspection and reporting, site restoration, and optional chemical treatments - Quantities: - Over 1,300 feet of column pipe, 2,200 feet of water-level measuring pipe, 670 zinc anodes, and multiple pump assemblies and accessories - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Fusion-Bonded Epoxy coating for corrosion resistance - Use of 17-4PH stainless steel for critical pump components - Mandatory pre-proposal conference and site visit - All work to be completed within 180 calendar days after notice to proceed - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation - Estimated construction cost: $973,000
